Oh, Genevieve…

She came around mid ‘10 for the OCT Deadline and man was she a rush of inspiration. Went out for dinner, sketched something on a napkin, thought up her powers and a name on the way home, forgot the name, then renamed her while drawing her again.

She hasn’t changed much from her origins since I haven’t found a place for her yet. She’s been sitting on the sidelines, only coming out for the occasional sketch or idea for a possible story. Her design hasn’t changed really and I’m trying to keep her personality towards silent sass-master, but we’ll see what happens once I bring her out!

Finishing these from last night!

Danae came about mid ‘11 for RP purposes. She was originally a kid of other random characters and was then aged up in order to play… not as a kid. She was bounced around a few RPs (modern times, then diesel-punk, then contemporary superhero stuff). The contemporary superhero world seems to be a good world for her. I guess the world switches were the most changes for her, but her personality took a natural growth from the over-shadowed little sister with compulsory lying to someone who can hold her own in most situations. But really, not too much change with her!

Wasu is one of my ooooooldest characters. She’s back from… wow I think ‘05. She came from this image right here all those years ago:

Her dress design has slowly evolved with little details over the years and she’s also gained a story/personality. Lots of things happen to her and she tries to embrace her circumstances despite all the difficulties. Being a goddess is tough work! The myth I created around her and her role has stayed pretty much the same since she was made. It’s something that rings true with me and hope to put into action some day (the story not her myth because that role kind of sucks). She’s also who I default to for doodles! Lots of fun shapes for me to play with.

I’ve had Darnell around since late ‘09 and he’s probably my most developed character at this point. He was originally for an OCT and since gained his own story. 

He hasn’t changed terribly much since his inception! He’s grown, definitely. I’ve learned more about his childhood, how he’s handled his life up to where he is, and he’s even got a job now! Pretty good since he was created wandering aimlessly around a forest. His story, False Façade, is currently being written and I’m happy with the direction it has taken since it was first started. I find him to be my most interesting character by far and never get tired of playing with him.
